Baltic University Programme (BUP)
Background
The Baltic University Programme (BUP) is a network of universities and other institutes of higher learning throughout the Baltic Sea region. The network is coordinated by the Baltic University Programme Secretariat, a part of Uppsala Centre for Sustainable Development (Uppsala CSD) at Uppsala University, Sweden.
Member Universities
BUP has about 225 members. Activities
The BUP implements educational programs on the environment and sustainability, organized into seven course packages: Area Studies, Education for Change, Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Sustainable Community Development, Sustainable Development, Sustainable Water Management, Education in Sustainability. The BUP also publishes works and organizes meetings on sustainability issues.
